第二节 首辅音连缀/tr//dr/
在同一个音节中两个或两个以上相邻辅音结合在一起的现象称为辅音连缀。辅音连缀在发音时应注意：（1）第一个辅音要读得轻而短促；（2）切忌在相邻辅音之间夹入元音。辅音连缀现象在英语中极为常见，但汉语中无此现象。
一 发音秘诀
/tr/和/dr/都是首辅音连缀，分别由爆破音/t//d/和摩擦辅音/r/组成。发音部位都是上齿龈后部。都只能出现在元音之前，音节之首，不能位于元音之后、音节末尾。/tr/是清辅音连缀。发音时，舌尖抬向上齿龈后部，并向硬腭弯曲，舌尖贴在上齿龈后部，形成阻碍，双唇稍向前突出，呼气，气流冲破阻碍发出/tr/是清辅音连缀，发音时声带不振动，/dr/是浊辅音连缀，发音时，声带要振动。如：treat/triːt/，trust/trʌst/，country/'kʌntrɪ/,drive/draɪv/，dream/driːm/，hundred/'hʌndrəd/等。
注意要点：有些英语学习者容易将/tr/和/tʃ/，/dr/和/dʒ/混淆。虽然这两组音的发音部位都是上齿龈后部，发音方式有相似之处，发音时双唇都要略微突出，但它们的音质不同。/tr/和/dr/都是首辅音连缀，分别由爆破音/t//d/和摩擦辅音/r/组成，发音时舌尖要上翘，并贴住上齿龈后部，组成/tr//dr/的两个辅音必须快速滑读。而/tʃ/和/dʒ/都是单一的破擦辅音，发音时舌尖不上翘，用舌尖先贴住上齿龈，然后略微下降发出先破后擦的声音。
