疣鼻天鹅_蛇岛老铁山保护区

    

    鸭科|天鹅属

    学名：Cygnus olor

    英名：Mute Swan

    形态：大型游禽，体长130-155cm。全身洁白，嘴赤红色，嘴基黑色，前额具有黑色疣状突。游泳时，翅常隆起，颈呈优美的弯曲姿势。尾较长而尖，飞翔时不鸣叫，两翅振动有声。幼鸟体色绒灰或污白，嘴灰紫。

    虹膜褐色；嘴橘黄色；脚黑色。

    分布：渤海区域、华北、中部、西北部分地区有分布。在保护区属偶见的旅鸟，1933年黑田长礼在旅顺采集过标本，近20年没有监测到。

    习性：栖息于水草丰盛的开阔湖泊、海湾、沼泽等地。主要在水中生活，性机警。以水生植物的叶、根、茎、芽和果实为食。

    ID: Large waterfowl.Body length 130-155cm.White overall.Bill deep orange-red， with black base and knob.Neck S-shaped， and wings form high cushion-like dome when swimming.Tail long and pointed.In flight silent， but wings make loud rhythmic throbbing.Juvenile grey-brown or whitish.Bill greyish purple.

    BP: Eyes brown； bill orange； tarsi black.

    SD: Accidental in migration.Collected at Lushun in 1933 by Kuroda Nagamichi.No record in recent 20 years.

    HH: Frequents well-vegetated open lakes， bays and marshes.Aggressive， spends most of time in water.Feeds o nleaves， roots， stems， shoots and fruits of aquatic plants.
