胡庆余堂位于吴山脚下大井巷内，是由清代红顶商人胡雪岩创立的。它曾是一个中草药店。
Located in Dajing Lane at the foot of Wu hill，hu Qingyu hall was founded by a famous Qing Dynasty official businessman，hu Xueyan.It used to be a pharmacy for selling herbal medications.
建筑是庭院式的，属典型的清代风格，雅致并且宏伟。1988年被列为全国重点文物保护单位。胡庆余堂中药博物馆是中国唯一的中药专业博物馆，它在1991年对外开放，占地面积2700平方米。
The building is a court-style pharmacy featured on typical architectural style of the Qing Dynasty，elegant and magnificent.In 1988，it was listed as one of the major national monuments.hu Qingyu hall Traditional Chinese Medicine (hereinafter referred to as TCM)Museum is the only one special national museum of traditional Chinese medicine in China，opened to the public in 1991，covering an area of 2，700m.
整个馆分成五个部分：第一部分是陈列展厅，主要介绍了一些中国名医、传统中药的发展及有关重要的国际交流活动；第二部分是中药作坊，这里你可以看到制作中药的整个过程；第三部分是中医保健门诊室；第四部分是药膳厅；第五部分是营业厅。
The museum includes 5sections：an exhibition house introducing some famous Chinese doctors，the origin and development of TCM，the exchange activities of TCM with other countries；a workshop of TCM preparation where you can see the whole process of TCM preparing；a health-care clinic；a restaurant of medicated food and a sales department.
